Betches, the woman-founded media and entertainment company, today announced a new personal finance podcast, “Money Please.” The podcast will be hosted by Berna Anat (@HeyBerna), a self-proclaimed “Financial Hype Woman”, who will guide listeners in making financial decisions that will benefit them in the long run. She will cover everything from navigating a 401k to understanding what goes into buying a home. Public.com, the popular investing app with a community of over 1 million members, will serve as the podcast’s main sponsor for the first five episodes of the first season.

The weekly podcast will feature financial analysts, investment educators, debt experts and more alongside Berna to share tips, tricks and available resources for listeners to spend wisely. On Thursdays, Money Please will air an episode “Loose Change,” which will be a follow-up to the guest interview earlier this week, with a more in-depth conversation on the topic this week.

“In this bizarre capitalist hellish landscape we’re all stuck in, worrying about money is worrying about the self. But we’re tired of getting financial advice exclusively from unrelated finance dudes and hot-breathed Facebook uncles, ”said host Berna Anat. “I am honored to partner with Betches to help make financial education more accessible, engaging and fun, especially for my fellow first-generation learners who are starting from scratch. Honestly, I quietly used this podcast as a professional excuse to contact my smartest financial friends. I can’t wait to showcase their talent and amplify as many under-represented financial voices as possible.

“Money Please” joins the list of popular shows on the Betches Podcast Network, including the Millennial Dating and Relationships podcast “U Up?” , The wellness podcast “Diet Starts Tomorrow” and the real crime podcast “Not Another True Crime Podcast”, among others.

“After seeing what is currently out there in financial education and listening to the needs of our community, we felt there was a huge opportunity to create content that answers the complicated questions young women are facing. faced with regards to their finances, in a fun way. and engaging ”, says Sami Sage, Co-Founder and Content Director of Betches Media. “Coupled with this observation with our 136% year-over-year growth on the @whenshappyhr Instagram account (Betches’ vertical sector dedicated to career and finance), this was an obvious next step for us. We think this is such a critical conversation, and we pride ourselves on educating our audience on financial decisions as it is one of the key foundations for women who want to be in control of their career path and their future.
